Normal Shipping: Shipping & Handling is always just $4.99 for all orders. Orders are processed in the order in which they are received. Items are sent against cleared funds. [Most payment methods clear the same day]
If an item is not in stock, then it is on backorder. Customers are notified if any of the items ordered are on backorder. In such cases, the delay is usually 7 to 21 days.
We currently ship orders each Monday (and if we have enough orders to fulfill, we may ship them sooner) excluding holidays. The cutoff time on a Monday ship day is 6:00 pm EST on the previous Sunday.
Expedited Shipping: You may also choose expedited shipping method in order to receive your order more quickly at a charge of $19.99.
Delays: If shipping is delayed for some reason beyond our control, we will notify you by e-mail immediately and you may elect to cancel the order at that time.
US Shipping
For non-expedited orders, the default carrier for destinations within the United States is the U.S. Postal Service using their First Class Mail service. Depending on the size and value of your order we may elect to use UPS or FedEx Ground service or their respective 2 day service instead. There will be no additional cost if we utilize these alternatives.
For expedited orders, the default carrier is UPS and the default service is overnight delivery.
International Shipping
To Canada:
For Non-expedited Canadian orders, the default carrier is the U.S. Postal Service using their Priority International Mail (with tracking) service.
For Expedited orders: There is no expedited service option to Canada.
To other countries:
Presently, there is no standard shipping method for orders from countries other than the United States or Canada. If you wish to place an order from one of those countries, please email us at info@markmender.com in order to arrange for payment and shipping.
International buyers are responsible for customs duties. Such duties are not included in the calculated shipping charges. Please note that if you choose FedEx or UPS as the carrier, they may charge a customs brokerage fee that they will collect directly from you upon delivery.
We prefer that you choose a service that has tracking. The least expensive option is usually U.S. Postal Priority Mail International.
If you choose Priority Mail International service from the United States Postal Service [USPS], then there is no tracking available. You will bear the risk if the package goes missing. Our customers have experienced good service from this shipment method so far, and it is an affordable method. We feel that it is best to have tracking service, but we want our international customers to have the option if they need it.
Tracking Your Package
If you have a tracking or delivery confirmation number, you can track your package by going to the carrier’s web page for tracking and entering the tracking number. The shipping method and carrier will be provided in your shipment confirmation e-mail and Your Account. Contact information for each carrier is:
