1. If necessary (you will quickly learn when), tamp down the edges of the ball mark.

2. Open the tool. With your fingers on the prongs, insert them so that they grasp the turf just outside the edges of the ball mark.

3. Squeeze the Mark Mender™ to close the ball mark. For soft greens be gentle. For harder greens you'll find that firmly pumping the tool usually works much better that trying to squeeze it.

4. Tap down any remaining bumps or ridges with your golf club or foot.

NOTE: Proper use of the MarkMender™ golf tool will quickly become intuitive. Once you "get it" you will instinctively know how to fix virtually any ball mark in just seconds.
